This study was conducted to investigate the impacts of pinching in the seedings stage of soybean on yield and relative traits by using two soybean cultivars， main-stem type and branching type． The results showed that plant height were decreased by pinching in the seedings stage of soybean， and the later the pinching tince，the short the plant height． The average number of stems of single plant could be confined to two if pinching during the time from the first true leaf expansion to the compoud leaf expansion． Nodes in single plant and nodes of pods setting increased significantly， but pods in single plant and seeds per pod had slight variation． Soybean yield changed with different capacity of population．
以主茎型和分枝型大豆品种为试验材料，研究了苗期摘心对产量及相关性状的影响。 结果表明，苗期摘心可降低株高，表现出摘心时间越晚，株高越矮；在第一对真叶展开至第一片复叶展开时摘心，平均单株茎数可控制在2．0个左右；单株节数和结荚节数明显增加；单株荚数与荚粒数变化较小；产量因群体大小变化情况不同，表现不同。
